What is Bloom?
The white, velvety coating that sometimes appears on pure beeswax candles is called bloom — and it is a natural characteristic of genuine beeswax.
Much like the fine bloom on a piece of artisan cheese, this subtle frosting is a sign of quality. It tells you the wax is pure and unadulterated, with no synthetic additives to prevent it.
